Organising visits to and from Palestine
Organised visits to and from Palestine are a great way to develop links between friendship and twinning groups. Most UK citizens travelling to Palestine do so via Ben Gurion airport in Israel, with no visa requirement. You can find out more about organisations and groups who you could travel to Palestine with in our travel section. Palestinian citizens wishing to travel to the UK, however, will need to apply for visas well in advance of their trip. Visa application protocols change regularly so it is important to check the current advice of the British Government. You can also watch this short video made by the British Consulate General in Jerusalem, explaining in Arabic how to apply for a U.K. visa. BPFTN can connect you with member groups who have successfully organised visits. A number of template letters are available for groups to use and edit accordingly- if you need them in a different format please contact us.
